AND GENERAL RULES

exceptions. All vet out refunds will be processed approximately within 10 days after the show. There are no
exceptions to the rule, so please don’t ask. No refunds will be issued after the show begins on Friday, August
8, 2025.
Horse substitutions and other changes must be made in the Show Office 1 hour before your run for a charge of
$10. All changes must be requested in writing on a change form and must be made before your run. No rider
substitutions.
No switching of draw positions.
Entries must be received for both days before the rider makes their first run in order to be eligible for average
awards. Horse changes will disqualify rider from the average.
If running multiple horses, pre-entry is requested. We will do our best to allow space in drags to change horses,
but late entries will not be placed in pre-entry draw if scratches have occurred. Books will close at last 50 runners
in each class each day.
The draw number will remain consistent throughout the race regardless of draw-outs. Late entries will be added
after the pre-draw upon entry at the show office.
No dress code will be enforced.
Failure to answer 3 gate calls in a 60 second time period will result in an official scratch.
A horse/rider combination may enter the race only once. However, more than one person will be allowed to ride
the same horse, just not more than once. You may enter as many horses as you wish. (This is a variation of the
family rule).
Contestants will receive a no-time for knocking over a barrel or breaking the pattern and they may or may not
receive a time from the announcer. Once a barrel has been knocked over or the pattern broken that will end the
competition for that run. The contestant may finish the pattern, but the horse is not to be trained, schooled or
exhibitioned for the remainder of the pattern.
All reruns will be the decision of the Arena Director. Rerun will be on a fresh drag. Arena Director’s decisions are
FINAL. A horse falling during the run will not receive a rerun.
BBR payout will be used. Payback will be 80% payback of entry fees and 100 % of added money. Payout – 4D
format with ½ , ½, 1 splits. The total jackpotted entry fees of a class is to be divided 35% to the 1st Division,
30% to the 2nd Division, 20% to the 3rd Division, and 15% to the 4th Division. Number of places paid will be
determined by BBR rules. If all placings in a division are not filled, remaining placings will be divided
proportionally amongst that division.
Average awards will be presented based on the Saturday/Sunday runs. You must enter both days before your
Saturday run to be eligible for the average awards. Average is determined on combined times for two days
same horse and rider combination. Splits will be fastest time +1 sec for 2D, fastest time +2 sec for 3D and
fastest time +4 sec for 4D.
A roll of the dice or flip of the coin between contestants tied will handle tie for awards. (High number wins.)
Should all contestants involved in the tie not be present, the ones present will participate, and a staff member
will roll for the one(s) not present
Negative coggins required. Health papers required if applicable.
